The fourth installment of the highly anticipated Model-Based Systems Engineering Conference (MBSE-CON) is back in 2025, bringing together innovators, thought leaders, and practitioners from across the globe. Hosted by the Lifecycle Modeling Organization, MBSE-CON 2025 promises to be an exceptional event that explores the ever-evolving landscape of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in an era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

We hope this year's theme, "Data-Driven Systems Engineering Enhanced by AI," inspires and creates new ideas to share!

Important Dates
  • January 19, 2025:  Abstracts Due
  • February 9, 2025:  Author Notification and Acceptance
  • April 9, 2025:  Final Presentations and Copyright Release Due 

Presentation Submission Guidelines
  • Accepted abstracts (300 words or less) will receive a presentation deck template.
  • Presentations are 20 minutes including introductions. Q&A is 5 minutes. 5 minutes for transition of speakers.
  • Only one presenter per accepted presentation.
  • Please name your presentation in the following format:
    ‘number’_’Last Name_First Name_MBSECON25’
    • Where ‘number’ matches the assigned number that was provided to you in your acceptance email.
    • I.e. “A-2_Smith_John_MBSECON2025 

Frequently Asked Questions

Do presenters need to purchase registration? Each presentation will be provided with one Presenter-Only badge. If you would like to upgrade to full attendance, please register and choose "Presenter-Full Attendance" registration type. The "Presenter-Full Attendance" registration is discounted and provides you full access to the conference.

A Presenter-Only Attendee does not receive conference material and is only permitted to attend their presentation/panel block. A Co-Presenter Only Attendee may also visit with Exhibitors. Presenter Only Attendees are not permitted to attend keynotes, lunch, or other paper blocks. 

Do presenters have to attend in person? Yes

What formats for slides are allowed? Please submit your slides in one of the following formats: pdf, pptx, ppt, or pps.

What ratio should the slides be in? 16:9

Can I make changes to the slides after I have submitted them? Yes, You can make changes. Please email updated presentation slides to mbsecon@lifecyclemodeling.org before April 21, 2025.

How long is a paper presentation? We have scheduled each presentation for 25 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of questions.  If your presentation conforms to more of a question & answer format you are more than welcome to reduce the presentation time to match your format.
