The Lifecycle Modeling Language (LML) steering committee is an organization dedicated to the development and implementation of the Lifecycle Modeling Language in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The language is the first of its kind to have its own ontology, which makes it easier for users to interact with MBSE related projects. The biggest goal of LML is to further the field of Model-Based Systems Engineering and make it easier for users of the language. This dedication to MBSE gives LML the unique opportunity to host a conference solely devoted to MBSE and the fields that encompass it. Thus, there will be many different experienced speakers from a myriad of different fields that will be presenting their research at the conference.

Hosted by the Lifecycle Modeling Language Steering Committee, The Model-Based Systems Engineering Conference (MBSECON) will be the virtual conference for model-based systems engineers, professionals or government officials, interested in expanding systems engineering to a data-driven model-based solution as well as academics that would like to stay up to date in the current usage of MBSE and/or would like to use it in the classroom.

The theme of this year’s MBSECON is, “Achieving the Digital Future” and is focused on the implementation of model-based systems engineering and the future of MBSE, MBSE languages, ontologies, meta-models, and presentation frameworks, as well as the Lifecycle Modeling Language and how it can assist MBSE.

What can you expect from MBSECON?

The Lifecycle Modeling Language Steering Committee has created an immersive virtual conference with numerous invited speakers, informative panel sessions, and a unique virtual networking experience.

During the three day conference, attendees can expect to hear from various experienced systems engineers and keynote speakers on the field of model-based systems engineering and users of the Lifecycle Modeling Language (LML). Attendees will also have a chance to attend a 1-day virtual workshop to learn and understand LML and receive the opportunity to certify in the language.

Attendees can also expect an immersive and unique networking experience available in between speaker and panel sessions that will allow them to interact with sponsors, speakers, and other attendees.

Attendees will be able to benefit greatly from attending the conference. Included in the price of the ticket, all attendees will be able to sign up for a workshop on February 22nd to become familiar with and certify in the Lifecycle Modeling Language. The one-day workshop class will be held on the first day of the conference (February 22nd) and will include the opportunity to certify in the Lifecycle Modeling Language with short certification test.
